At what age can I begin to transport my child in the Leggero without an infant seat?
Beginning at the time that the child can sit up on its own and its neck muscles are well formed (approx. 1 year old)

What kind of suspension is used in the Leggero?
Passive suspension through tyre pressure for Twist, seat suspension for the Vento.

How long will replacement parts available?
We offer a replacement part guarantee of 10 years.

What kind of belt system is used?
A 3-point belt system; for Vento it is a 5-point belt system.

Starting when, and until when, is it necessary to have an infant seat?
Infants between 4 months and approx. 1 year old can be placed in an infant seat. The infant should be capable of sitting in the infant seat and holding its head upright.

When will the jogger set be available for the Leggero Vento?
A jogger set for the Leggero Vento is currently in the test phase and will be available from us beginning around the end of August 2010.

Which kind of coupling do I use for which situations?
For standard bicycles such as citybikes etc. with a frame thickness of up to 18 mm (measured at the back at the rear wheel hub), we recommend the Becco universal coupling or a rear stand, and for mountain bikes and special bicycles we offer a hub coupling of 175 or 195 mm.

What does shipping cost for the Leggero Vento to Switzerland, Germany and Austria?
Shipping for the Leggero Vento costs 30 CHF to Switzerland, and 30 euros to Germany and Austria.

Is there room for luggage?
Twist with luggage bag/luggage case.
Vento has a large trunk space behind the seats.

What kind of material is the floor made out of?
Twist is a shell construction made of plastic.
The Vento has an aluminium tray.

Is the material rust-free?
Yes.

What kind of tyres does it have?
Tyres with inner tubes.

Where is the production location?
The development and manufacturing is done at Leggero, Switzerland.
What kind of accessories are there?

For Twist there is a rain set, a luggage case, jogger set, locking brake, belt padding and various coupling systems.
For the Vento there is a pushchair wheel including bag, bottle holder, children’s drink bottle (SIGG), rain hood, bag set, jogger set, active lighting, children’s helmets, and various coupling systems.

Is it possible to see the caddies and pick them up directly at Leggero?
Yes it is possible, with cash payment during office hours. We accept Maestro EC, Postcard, Visa und Visa Pay, Mastercard, Dinners Club, JCB und American Express. How can I order?
It is possible to order the trailers (Vento and Twist) as well as replacement parts, also for older trailers, at our online shop (www.leggero.com), via e-mail (info@leggero.ch) or by telephone (++41 (0)71 466 95 95).

What kind of payment methods are there?
Invoice, Postfinance (only CH/LI), advance invoice (DE, AT), credit card (VISA, MasterCard).

Is every bicycle suitable for our trailers?
Yes, with an appropriate coupling system (Becco universal coupling/hub coupling/rear stand).

Can one ride with the cover open?
This is not recommended! The possibility of being hit by flying debris is very dangerous for children.

Can one also jog or go inline skating with the trailer?
Yes, jogging wheels are available for each the Twist and Cuatro I + II. Jogging wheel for Vento is coming out soon.

Must the occupants wear a bicycle helmet?
A helmet is not prescribed by law but we recommend that a bicycle helmet be worn also by the occupants of the trailer.

Must a vignette be issued for a trailer?
No, the trailer is also covered by the bicycle vignette.

How is it to be cared for?
The textile parts of the trailer can be washed in a machine at 30 °C. The metal parts are rust-free and do not need any other care. Regularly check the tow bar and the coupling for cracks or other damage. The trailer should be checked by a technician every two years.

How much does it weigh empty?
Twist:   14.5 kg
Vento:  15.0 kg
